Hello dear followers!
Ever since i started writing my blog, i wanted to host a giveaway. I appreciate so much that you people really are interested in my life and care to read my blog, and even leave comments!
Anyway, some time ago one of my favorite makeup companies offered me a chance to hold a giveaway with their products! Was i excited? Yes!!
Lime Crime has been one of my favorite brands for a long time, i absolutely adore their lipsticks, eyeliners and pressed eyeshadows. I'm pretty sure that you have heard about this brand before if you have read my blog, since i use their products very often. I don't even own any other brand lipsticks anymore!
I am so happy that i got this opportunity to give away some awesome makeup products! I know a lot of you people don't have the chance to get this brand from your country, and some of you don't even have the chance to order it from abroad. And some of you may have the same problem as i do; i almost never have any extra money to buy something for nice myself, like makeup!

My favourite is the Antoinette! I love the on trend pastels of the palette and that it can also be used on face to create some unusual but pretty looks.

My favorite Lime Crime palette is the Chinadoll since I love to work with popping _matte_ (not glittering, like in the Aquataenia palette) colors like yellow and red combined with black! I love all of their palettes but this is my favorite one because I can work all of it's colors into my every-day- as well as party/extreme make up and it will either way give off a stunning look!

My favourite of the Lime Crime palettes is Aquataenia. Many shades of eyeshadow which are slightly pearlescent don't give as intense a colour as matte shades, and all of the pictures I have seen of people using this palette show that is gives really intense colour, such as your mermaid look made with it. I also like the way that the colours contrast with each other, so you can create a full look with a lot of depth only using this palette. All five of the colours are so vibrant and gorgeous in colour. My favourite has to be the dark pink though. :)

ReplyDeleteI never used a Lime Crime product before, but I think I like the AQUATAENIA palette the most. The colours are amazing and I totally like shimmery and powerful shades to work with.

DeleteMy fav is Palette D'Antoinette, because I think I could pull those colors off! Others might be too bright, but those pastel shades can work in an everyday makeup but also in a more festive makeup. I would pair it with black eyeliner. Oh, btw. I don't even own a liquid eyeliner even thought my makeup arsenal has been growing at a pretty good pace.

This was a hard one to decide because I used to want antionette until I saw Aquaetenia. Aquaetenia is by far my favorite cause ever since I was little I wanted to desperately be a mermaid (and still do!:P) I blame Disney, but this palette is as close as I will get . :D

ReplyDelete- Anyway, the question (which is a really hard one, by the way!); My favorite of the palettes is AQUATAENIA. I love how shimmery and sparkly the colors are, and I am also a biiig fan of the mermaid-y theme they made of it. So gorgeous! + I really adore wearing teal, purple and green these days, and the colors on AQUATANIA are just spot-on gorgeous. Also, LimeCrime's eyeshadows are so pigmented. Would love to try out this one!

It's really hard to choose a favorite because they all look amazing. I unfortunately don't own any Lime Crime YET, but do plan to do so in the very near future. I think if I could be forced to only choose one palette, it would be the Aquataenia Palette because every color in it is bright, cheery and fun... Which is exactly how I like my makeup. I love the Chinadoll palette because it's bold and will force me to be bold as well. I think that the bright white liner would go really well with all the colors in the palette so that would have to be my pick for the liner. I usually stay with neutrals and browns, but if I won a palette like Chinadoll I would HAVE to play around with color and bold looks. My personal favorite is the Pallet d'Antoinette. I have an obsession with candy colours, but there are very few brands of makeup (and even those only have a few candy colours) which supply my sugary addiction! In fact, we sell donuts where I work which have the same shade of icing as Macarooned! So it's a little heat breaking walking by the stand, as I don't own the d'Antoinette pallet. I do buy a donut every day though ;)

My favourite is definitely China Doll. It has ALL my most loved colours in it AND they're matte (I can't stand shimmering/sparkly eyeshadows most of the time...). I love bold and unusual colours for my makeup and I've been looking for a green like that for ages! (And I actually already have an idea for using the green, gold and black together^^) ♥

ReplyDeleteThe colours are vivid yet elegant. Although they are bright, their tones are so rich that it could be worn to create dramatic, sultry looks, which is exactly what I envision when I think of traditional Chinese costume and architecture.
Oh my favorite palette is Aquatenia, the colors seem very intense but also glittery and I love the different shades that come with it, especially the shiny purple :p

My favorite palette is PALETTE D'ANTOINETTE simply beacuse it contains every trendy shade I'm totally in love with.
ReplyDeleteI am also a matte eyeshadows lover, but sometimes I like to add a little bit of sparkle to my makeup and the silver eyeshadow is perfect for it.
One can create bright makeup look or gothik/kinda punk look using this palette and that's why i love it so much ;)

I'm obsessed with candy colours, but only a few companies (and even they only have a limited selection of candy colours!) create the soft yet vibrant sugar which I'm addicted to! Actually, in work we sell donuts which have the exact same colour of icing as Macarooned! Makes me a little sad to walk by them as I don't own this pallet yet, but I buy one of the donuts every day to make up for it ;)

ReplyDelete- I have to say, that Aquataenia is my favorite. I've wanted to try LimeCrime's eyeshadows after I tried those carousel glosses and they were amazing! Lime green and purple with sparkles look so good. And I've tried to find a perfect red and perfect blue eyeshadows which would have enough pigment. If the eyeshadows are as good as the lipsticks and lip glosses, I think I'd start to use those colors in my make up as well!
White liquid eyeliner would also be amazing above the black one on eye make-up.

it would most deff be China doll because its bright and bold colors. Lime Crime is the only brand i know that puts can put all these unique eye shadow colors into one palette.

They're my favourite colors and I just love mixing them together, but I think it would be awesome to have that ultra-cute-gold yellow, the softy blue and the intense green. ReplyDeleteI've never really been into pastels that much, however after using a hint of Sugarpill's Mochi with Airborne Unicorn, I realized that I desperately need some more pastel looks in my life!!!(also I follow you on facebook and have seen some of the amazing stuff you've done with this palette) I have been absolutely dying to add these into my makeup collection however due to a pretty serious injury I lost my job and well, yeah.. things like makeup have been put on the back burner for a while. Love em!!

The AQUATAENIA is my favorite palette because it fits my personality best and goes with the theme of my wardrobe and am able to create different works of art on my eyes and face and look great for photographs. Also because I have brown eyes and those colors make my eyes pop and draw attention to them. I like the CHINADOLL one the most. It has very intensive looking colours. Also, it would fit best with the colours of my wardrobe. And it has my favourite colours red and black in it. Also, I think that green would go very well with my eye colour, because I have greenish eyes.

It's so hard to pick a favorite palette! I have been wanting to try Lime Crime for so long now, the only thing I own by them is their primer and I love it! If I had to pick one, I think it would have to be PALETTE D'ANTOINETTE! I love pastels, there is something so soft, delicate, and pretty about them. The colors look delicious in the Antoinette palette, and one of my cats is named Antoinette :-P. But in all seriousness, it would be something completely new to my collection. As someone who loves to live boldly, I live the Aquataenia Palette. It mixes beautiful, yet strong glistening shades.. It's shades are sparking with lushness and vibrancy, without being appearing garish or OTT.
ReplyDeleteAs someone who enjoys make-up and how it can change your whole appearance, I can say, I want these shimmering colours to be apart of mine.
The blue tones are so beautiful and unique, you rarely see people use them. Their gorgeous and lush hues remind me of the ocean where I used to swim with my friends every weekend, and that pink? That pink is like the bonfires we used to have every Saturday night as we watched the stars. These are my favourite shades.
My favourite pallet is the Chinadoll pallet because it's rich and dark, suiting to my entire wardrobe pretty much. My background is a lot of Chinese and my late grandmother was into the Chinese artwork and I thought of that when I saw the colours. It's bold and elegant, and definitely something I could see myself getting a good use out of since it's the colours I use basically everyday!

I currently have the Antoinette palette. I love the vibrant yet pastel colours, they go great with my pasty skin haha. AQUATAENIA, Olen ollut ihan pienestä tytöstä asti ollut kiinnostunut merenneidoista ja tuolla paletilla saisi täydellisen merenneito-lookin. Pari lookia olenkin jo suunnitellut, mutta koska kyseistä palettia en omista en ole niitä pystynyt toteuttamaan. Paletin värit ovat todella kauniit ja, vaikka yleensä en hirveästi pidä kovin kimmeltävistä luomiväreistä niin Aquataeniaan se sopii täydellisesti. Kaipaisin meikkipussiini luomivärejä,jotka ovat värikkäitä ja joissa on hyvä pigmentti ja uskon, että Aquataenia voisi olla juuri täydellinen.

But since the others have come out I think I love the Palette D'Antoinette the most because of the gorgeous pastel colours. I just don't own any pastel colours because in stores these are all bad quality (where I'm from at least..) so I'd love to give this pretty palette a go ^^

But its not so easy to find these kinda of palettes that will show up in dark complex's, or if you find, then they are not enough pigmented. My favorite palette has to be the AQUATAENIA palette, I just love the combination of color and all the shimmer, I can totally see myself using this everyday! Oh, and the purple eyeliner just looks stunning. Thank you for this opportunity!
ReplyDeleteMy favourite palette is the ...PALETTE D'ANTOINETTE!I love the shimmery feminine shades, perfect to create light daytime looks but also perfect for evening looks mixed with some darker shades. The colours remind me of girly, floral makeup, like some of the looks you have done :) which I'd love to recreate.

I love them all!!! It is too hard to choose the best one, but if I had to pick one to start with I would choose Chinadoll. All of the colors are stunning and with the Chinadoll pallet I could do so many looks. The possibilites are endless!

AQUATAENIA, I've been interested in mermaids since I was little girl and with this palette I could make perfect mermaid-look. The colors in this palette are very bright and shiny, even though I don't usually like really glittery eyeshadows I think that in Aquataenia that glitter looks just fabulous! I've always wanted to try Limecrime's eyeshadows, because they look so pigmented. And I don't really have any colorful eyeshadows so Aquataenia would be good supplement to my make-up bag.

Chinadoll! Although I love the Aquataenia as well, because I love how deep, shimmery eye-shadow brightens eyes, the Chinadoll is definitely something I would love to experiment with! The deep black, red, and green are some of my favorite colors. You can create such intense looks with them. I've never found a really good yellow and would love a chance to experiment and the light blue is an awesome color to brighten up a look.
